Since 2001, ESE Recruitment has been providing Executive Search, Permanent, Contract, and Temporary Recruitment solutions to our network of small, medium, and large enterprise clients. MARK BERTHELSEN

Mark has been operating as a successful recruiter within Australia and internationally for over 20 years. He commenced his recruitment career in Japan where he worked for 5 years, in the later years as a General Manager, responsible for a large team of Executive Search consultants. Mark returned to Australia in 2004 and has been a director of ESE since then. Today, Mark is a highly respected recruiter who works with a broad range of clients, many of whom he's maintained for over 10 years. Mark has a degree in business from La Trobe University, and is fluent in several foreign languages. He enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and drinking boutique beer.
Matt Johnson

Matt is a founding partner in ESE Recruitment, starting the business in 2002. Working predominately in the Engineering, Scientific and Technical spheres, Matt has a broad network of professional contacts and an ongoing passion for the recruitment industry. A scientist (chemist) by qualilfication, Matt has degrees in Science and Business (Human Resources Management). In his downtime, Matt enjoys travelling, camping and being active outdoors (mountain biking, trail running). Matt's twin sisters, Katie and Michelle, run ESE's sister company, ESE Consulting, in regional Victoria.
